Counter sums up twice

    Thank you for the video –

    Re this:
    1) The counter displays twice.. I would like to get rid of the regular counter (the one that displays after the page content) and only display the one that shows with the shortcode. is that possible?

    The second counter ( the one left of | Comments number) is not from the Post Views Count plugin. It must be there from custom code from the theme or some plugin. Our plugin does not show the counter on the left of | Comments number.

    You should try and find that and remove it. I think doing that will also resolve this issue

    2) Every time I reload the page, the counter sums up twice… 2, 4, 6, 8

    To quickly test that you could just turn off Page Views Count and see if the other Counter still counts 2 times each page load.

    You can do that by going to wp-admin, the Settings menu > Page View Count menu and then turn it OFF here https://i.gyazo.com/36f893a401e52a5ac66e9f1f0d89daa0.png

    I think that a conflict between the 2 counters is causing the double loading count.
