• Hi, some months (or even years) ago I tried to upgrade from 1.x to current 2.x version. I have never been succesfull – after upgrade the counters were reset to zero. This was always the reason for a roll-back. But this time I would like to insist on having the latest version installed….

But… how to migrate counts from version 1.x to the current one? I tried “Merge blog ID 0 and 1 post counts” (I am running mustisite and I am interesten basically only in the post visit counts migration for the main blog (ID=1)

Some blogs are listed in the Top 10 admin page (but not all of them), the main blog is not listed.

No idea how to continue… I hope I will not be pushed to roll back to the 1.x version again…

Thanks a lot for your support!

Firstly please make sure you’ve got a backup of your database. That’s critical in case anything goes wrong.

If you’re on multisite, in the Top 10 settings page you should see an extra section at the bottom for upgrade the counts. Can you post a screenshot of this?

This section lets you import the counts into the master table. The main difference between v1 and v2 is that the 2.x tables have an extra column for the blog ID.
