Counter on posts does not work

    There were some changes to the APIs since I first wrote this plugin, so I have just made some updates to this. If you update to version 1.2.0, hopefully all the issues with post count will be resolved.
    I have also now changed the implementation so that the share counts are loaded from the client side after the page is loaded, meaning the page loads a lot faster.

    Please let me know if you do have any issues with this.

    Hi Sarah,

    Update the plugin, but still do not see the post count. On the pages it works, but the size of the numbers is now really big and does not comply with the image size.

    Update today wordpress and your plugin, but the counter still does not work on posts (on pages it does). The issue of the size of the numbers is resolved.

    As far as I can tell, the plugin seems to be working on both posts and pages on your site. I didn’t check every single post, but for the ones I did, the counts matched against other sites like LinkTally or SharedCount (http://www.sharedcount.com/#url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.capabla.com%2F).

    I also checked some of the blog posts manually against the Facebook API and the share counts seem to be correct.
    Have you just recently added share buttons to the site? If so, that could be why most of the counts are zero – at the time people read them, there wasn’t a sharing option and so they weren’t widely shared. There are a couple of posts that have some non-zero post counts though:
