Is the countdown being shown in other places?
It’s possible your theme isn’t calling an action we hook into on the cart, I know this came up in the past and I adjusted the code so it was more likely to be called.
What theme are you using and do you know what actions it is calling on those pages?
Hi James,
Thanks for replying. Nope, I didnt see your countdown anywhere. I have a countdown timer installed on my product page only, but that’s another plugin which does not have a countdown for the cart / checkout pages.
I’m using Avada 5.1.6.
I looked at my pages, I saw the following. Seems like the theme is using the WooCommerce shortcodes to build the /cart, /checkout and /review-order-keep pages.

Those are official WooCommerce shortcodes so it should be working. I’m travelling today so it will be a bit before I can dig into it.
Thanks James,
awaiting your reply. Enjoy your trip!
Hi James,
Any update on this? What information do you need?
Sorry, I am still away on travel. If I have a chance I will take a look, otherwise I won’t have a chance till I return.
Had a few minutes to look into this. Are you sure your items are set to manage stock? If you aren’t seeing a countdown anywhere that would be my first guess
Hey @jamesgol. First, excellent plugin. This is incredibly helpful for shops with one-of-a-kind items.
I am however experiencing the same issue as @kai2810, and cannot see the timer. Woocommerce short codes are being used by my theme, and stock is set to manage. Any other ideas? Thank you!!
I’m not able to reproduce this issue with the latest WooCommerce and WordPress. @kayg17 are you seeing any countdown at all after you add an item to your cart?
Can you screenshot your settings and the specific item that is set to manage?
Just to be clear, items added to the cart before this plugin is installed will never expire only items added when the plugin is enabled will be able to expire.
