Count in row not available in archive template

In the shortcode settings, you can change the Count in Row setting in Grid View. However, on the Archive Page Settings, there is no way to set that – it defaults to 3. This makes it very difficult to create a truly responsive experience. I fixed it by editing the plugin files (grid.php line 123), but that’s not a good practice. Any other solution for this?
