# Couldn't resolve host 'jetpack.wordpress.com'

 * I have no idea what just happened to jetpack in my site, i didnt do anything 
   for the last 48 hours and it was working perfectly until an hour before when 
   i started to get this error:
 * We were unable to get your stats just now. Please reload this page to try again
 * i deactivated the jetpack plugin and activated again and tried to reconnect with
   WordPress when i got this error msg
 * Jetpack could not contact WordPress.com: register_http_request_failed. This usually
   means something is incorrectly configured on your web host.
 * whats wrong???

 * same here. Having identical issue. We contacted our host company (host gator)
   and person was unable to resolve it in chat and escalated it.
