Ah, the NextGEN explains it. Easy FancyBox only knows how to recognize WordPress galleries, not NextGEN or others.
You can either set the Auto-gallery option to “All images” or try to implement the instruction for a old NextGEN version (it has changed a lot since the new developers took over) on https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-fancybox/faq/ under “Can NextGEN Gallery work with Easy FancyBox ?”
(Note that rel="%GALLERY_NAME%"
is the part that actually makes the gallery)
Setting “All images” doesn’t help because it keeps moving to the next gallery. Your plug-in is totally useless for my client’s website that uses commercial Nextgen gallery V.2.1.23. The problem is my client doesn’t understand anything about the web, so they believe that I don’t know how to solve this problem. They want me to dig in your codes and fix it. It’s so frustrating using some free plugins that have all kinds of conflicts. I’m tired of spending 2 days & 2 nights tracing codes of this simple plug-in. It’s not worth my time. I’ll give up. Thanks for your help though.
Like I said, follow the instruction under “Can NextGEN Gallery work with Easy FancyBox ?” on https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-fancybox/faq/ and it should work without having to mess with any plugin code…
