• At first I couldn’t get it to work and got a “critical error” every time I tried. When support read that, they contacted me and asked for details and then fixed it with an update in one day! I’m impressed…

  • Hi jmarken,

Thanks for the feedback, and sorry to hear about the issues you encountered. We’d be happy to help you debug the problem – it could indeed be a plugin conflict or something else environment-specific.

If you’re still open to it, feel free to share any error logs or details (e.g. theme, active plugins), and we can take a quick look. It shouldn’t take long to pinpoint the issue.

Wow, you’re offering support for the free version. Bless you.

Here is the message I’m getting: There has been a critical error on this website. Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.

From the Dreamhost error log I’m seeing this: [pid 617748] fcgid_bucket.c(153): mod_fcgid: stderr: PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function WP_Filesystem() in /home/jmarken/fbfellowship.org/wp-content/plugins/image-upload-for-bbpress/bbp-image-upload.php:168

Here is the webpage in question: https://www.fbfellowship.org/reunion/.

I’m using generatepress and building with generateblocks. I confess, since I co-built and maintain this with another person, we have far more plugins than I usually use, which is why I didn’t try to troubleshoot: All-in-One WP Migration Unlimited Extension, Antispam Bee, bbPress, GenerateBlocksPro, GP Premium, Happyforms, Image Widget, your own plugin, Menu Image, Modern Events Calendar Lite, Ninja Tables (not using this), Safe SVG, TablePress, Ultimate Blocks, WP Gallery Custom Links, WP Show Posts, WP Super Cache, Yoast Duplicate Post.

    Thanks so much,

    Jon

    Hi Jon,

That’s definitely the kind of detail we were hoping for – thank you!

This helps a lot. Our developer will take a look at this today, and we’ll be rolling out an update shortly to address it.

Thanks again for your help, we really appreciate it.

    Hi Jon,

We just released a fix for this in version 1.1.22.

Could you please update and let us know if everything is working correctly on your end now?

Thanks again for your detailed report – it really helped us track this down quickly!

    Best, BerryPress Support
