Support » Plugin: Images Optimize and Upload CF7 » Couldn’t find tttachments Mail-Tag

  • Hello!
First of all, thanks for the plugin. It’s great.
I was searching for an answer for a small issue, and came across this topic:
    https://wordpress.org/support/topic/no-shortcode-for-database/

Well, this is my problem as well.
I think that what the guys meant is that the plugin automatically adds the attachments to the email sent.
Well, we need the mail-tag of the attachment, to create a PDF using the link.
    For example:
Using default system of CF7 I need to add a file field, then I have the mail-tag [file-attachment1] (example). Then I have go to Mail tab of CF7, and add this mail-tag to “File Attachments” field. Using the mail-tag of the attachment, I can use the image link in a PDF generator plugin.

The problem here is that we cannot find the attachment’s mail-tag using the plugin. We do not have the [file-attachment1] “shortcode”.

Is it clear? Could you help me?

    Thank you in advance.

Hello @bruklig , thank you for your reply.

This is the PDF plugin I meant in my first topic
    https://br.wordpress.org/plugins/send-pdf-for-contact-form-7/

This plugin allows us to add an image attachment to the PDF when we create it. To do so, they use the attachment “shortcode” generated by CF7, like [file-1] for example.
Instead adding this shortcode do the Mail tab of CF7 and send the attachment in the email, we can add this shortcode to the plugin’s config and attach the image to the PDF. You can find this options in “Personalize your PDF”, as you can see in the image below:
    https://ps.w.org/send-pdf-for-contact-form-7/assets/screenshot-3.png?rev=1716498

When we insert the “shortcode” of the attachment on the file box, it creates a hyperlink that can be added with HTML to the PDF.

The issue with this plugin is that we can’t find the [file-1] tag for the attachments, to do all this process and add the attachment as image to the PDF. If an user adds an images to optmize, we would need 3 file-tags like [file-1][file-2][file-3] to make this work.

If you need any other detail, please let me know. I’ll be glad to help.
