Could we get feedback in the Log In form if a user is locked out?

    Hi ya,
    I just had a user get locked out because of too many login attempts. This is as expected of course.

    But there was no feedback in the LogIn form that they were not being allowed to log in because they had been locked out, and they should contact the Webmaster. It just kept on asking for username and password, and asking to prove their humanity.

    They did get an email after a bit.

    But immediate feedback in the web interface would be a nice bit of member service.

    Or is there some way we can add it into the login form ourselves?

    There is supposed to be a message. It sounds like another plugin may be interfering. Try disabling them and re-enabling one-by-one, testing after each, to find the culprit.
