"Could not write to file. Please check filesystem permissions."

    Greetings — I’ve just purchased The NextGen Pro version and installed it on my server. As a test, I created a gallery from my Dashboard and tried to upload some images, but received this error message:

    Could not write to file. Please check filesystem permissions. Filename: /home/composi/public_html/wp-content/blogs.dir/1/files/nyc-test

    I’ve searched the forums here thinking that it might be a common problem but don’t see it addressed anywhere. I use Fetch for my MAC’s FTP — does anyone know how/where I can change those filesystems permissions, if, in fact, that is the problem?

    I’d be grateful for any tips or advice.
