    Running WP 3.9.1. Installed NextGen Gallery 2.0.66 this AM. Wanted to play around with it before considering upgrading to Pro. Tried to upload a gallery and received “Could not write to file. Please check filesystem permissions.” Is this a standard error? What permissions do I need to change to allow uploading.

    @challengecamp – Generally you will need to have the file/folder permissions from /wp-content/ be inherited by your gallery folders.

    Those permissions should be equivalent to 0755 for folders and 0644 for files.
