 * I configured SMTP as per post [https://support.themecatcher.net/quform-wordpress-v2/guides/email/using-the-post-smtp-plugin-to-send-emails-via-smtp](https://support.themecatcher.net/quform-wordpress-v2/guides/email/using-the-post-smtp-plugin-to-send-emails-via-smtp),
   but it showed me the error “Could not open socket”.
    See the test diagnosis below:

 * Ask your host if they are blocking access to ports 587 or any other outgoing 
   ports.

 * Okay, solved. I just changed the “security” field from SMTPS to STARTTS and it
   is now working.
