I could not get the Cat plugin to work in modal, banner or secrecy mode. Both the link in the plugin to check and a manual check failed.

I finally just made a post on my site of the gif.

buried in the middle of a blog and withoug promotion will never get seen.

Stop with the fancy stuff and get us one that anybody that knows what a widget is can put it in a left or right column of their blog. WordPress makes things so easy that many people don’t know how to edit their header.

All this plugin does is add the javascript code from https://www.internetdefenseleague.org/ to your site so you don’t need to hack your theme. It’s not intended to have a widget or anything else. There was a campaign once that required that, so I added it, but that campaign is done now, and I’ll likely remove it.

I contacted the developers at the Internet Defense League and they have said that the plugin will work with the upcoming campaign. However, since there is no active campaign, you aren’t going to see anything and they have confirmed that the test parameter is not working (and will be fixed before the next campaign).

There is no “fancy stuff” in this plugin. It’s just the code you get here: https://www.internetdefenseleague.org/
