When attempting to scan for cookies, I get an error stating: “Could not establish connection with scanner! please try again later”. Why?

I’m using the old UI if that matters. I’m not interested in migrating and losing features, if possible. How can I resolve this issue? I tried disabling various website optimizations such as minify, but I can’t get any results. Last scan was back in 2023. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

    Hello Ayumi,

    Thanks for reaching out!

We had a look at your site and noticed that you’re currently using the legacy version of the CookieYes plugin. Please note that the cookie scanner is not available in this older version of the plugin. To use the scanning feature, you’ll need to upgrade to the latest version of the plugin and connect it to your CookieYes web app account.

Also, you mentioned that your last scan was in 2023. As the legacy version doesn’t support scanning, could you please share more details about how the scan was performed or where you saw the scan results? This will help us better understand the context and assist you more effectively.

Let us know if you have any questions about the migration or need help with the updated setup—we’re here to help!
