I’ve seen this addressed in other topics, but I don’t have the html or php experience to understand the answers. I know I have the correct ftp info– I used cyberduck. Also, I was able to manually install a wordpress update. I used to be able to install themes– I don’t know what changed. I have 2 wordpress pages– one has the newest wordpress and one doesn’t, but I get the same error on both. * The ftp option for the install is grayed out “localhost”. I did manage to go into the config file and try changing it to my ftp site. (saw that tip on one answer). I tried many variations. Maybe I have the format wrong of how I wrote it into the file? The ftp site is 0061a9d.netsolhost.com. (I believe this is my localhost, but that doesn’t work either). * Any thoughts on correcting this error without knowing html or php? * Thank you! I’ll try that this evening when I’m back at my own computer. But I did try (‘FTP_HOST’, ”). (And WordPress, until about 2 days ago…) I’ll guess I’ll just leave it the way it is and not change or update any themes. I can update WordPress by downloading the update and ftping it up, it’s just kind of a pain! * Thanks for your help, esmi!
