I've come across a problem when uploading a plugin or theme.

'Unable to create directory http://www.mysite.com\www\wp-content/uploads/2009/05. Permision Denied.'

I know what you're probably thinking. Change permissions to 777 or 755. I've tried that, but it has no helped... I've also tried CHMOD, and CHGRP. I'm not sure what to do, I've even tried CHOWN for a little bit to 777... I have the latest versions of WordPress, PHP, MySQL, and Apache2. Thanks!

    Hi,

Assign 755 recursive permissions to wp-content directory with the help of your web hosting service provider which will resolve this issue positively.

    Thanks,

I tried what you mentioned, but the error still came up. I've also tried setting it to 777 for a little bit, but it continued to come up with that same error. Any other possible solutions?

Well! I got it working! I changed the permissions in the ftp config file so that I could write to the directory. Thanks for replying though!

Changing the permissions on the wp-config.php worked for me as well.
