• This plugin seemed like it was going to be the solution I was looking for on a site I’m building. HOWEVER – it does not work. At all. The simplest features of the free version do not work on my website. I even pared down their own Post Form Template to have nothing more than the Post Title and Post Content… and it would not work. It will not post. It does nothing. Add the featured image field and at least then I get an error… that says nothing more than the word “undefined”. Helpful.

    Had I been able to get even the base / free version of this to work I would have GLADLY bought the pro version (especially considering I build WP sites for a living, and would have likely bought a dev multi-site license if available.)

    I’ve tried getting ANY type of help with this, from forums to their “chat” on the webdev.com website… which was little more than a waste of time. Especially after I told Vicky on their chat that I would not buy the plugin if I couldn’t even get the free version to work… then I started getting nothing more than the cookie-cutter, copy-and-paste answers of… “it should work” and “here’s a link to the features of our plugin”.

    Thanks, Vicky… I know what it is *SUPPOSED* to be able to do, I just want it to do that so that I can determine if it was worth buying… (which you can tell from this post, I decided it certainly is NOT)

    You have opened a support topic regarding the issues you are facing. Unfortunately, it seems you are struggling with a conflicting issue, not an issue with the WPUF actually!

    You have provided us a bad rating here without judging whether it’s the plugin problem or anything else! You have not wait for our reply or let us try to solve it as well, which made us feel so sad.

    Please check the conflict as I said on your support topic and let us know which plugin or theme causing the problem. We’d love to investigate on it further.

    I would have loved the opportunity to find out what the other issues could have been… but without any type of assistance that is rather difficult to do. The rating I gave was based on two things — (1) the inability to get any type of support on a plugin that I truly hoped to purchase a dev license for since I could make great use of it on multiple sites I currently have and will be building, (and yes, I did wait for a reply which I was told by Vicky on your live chat that should have been within 24 hours or less and that I should have received an email which never arrived in my inbox, spam, or anywhere else) and (2) the (more obvious) inability to get it to work, even straight out of the box with the simplest standard post form, when the only other plugins installed are ones that allegedly work with this plugin (ACF).

    As an update – and just to make sure I had not missed anything I could try on my side – I have deactivated all plugins (again) with the exception of WPUF, CPT UI, and ACF.

    The default “Post Form” that is installed with the plugin works… once. Any attempt to use the same exact form again results in the “undefined” message and nothing else.

    As soon as I make *ANY* change to any field – even something as simple as removing the category drop-down field… the form no longer works.

    I made a blank form – the only fields on it are Post Title and Post Content, nothing else. It does not work.

    This isn’t even using or trying to access any ACF’s or CPT’s. Short of having zero other plugins installed, I’m not sure what else I could do from my side to troubleshoot your plugin. (and have still not heard from anyone other than your reply early this morning.)

    I was waiting to get a reply on your support topic and I can see you have replied on your support topic just a few hours ago, where you have replied on this review 3 days ago. It seems you are more interested to establish a reason behind your review!

    However, you said you have not got support. We have replied to your support topic within 24 hours but you did wait for the reply at all.

    Of course, you have all rights to share your thoughts on the forum about a plugin but opening a support topic and then providing a negative review if not responded within 3-4 hour is not a good practice. We try to respond to a support topic as soon as we can but as we are a human being and we need weekends/holiday, sometimes it can take time to get an issue resolved.

    We respect every opinion and the review here. If you really like to get your issue resolved, you can contact our support center. We’d love to check and fix your issue 🙂

    Trust me, we would not have such a number of active users if we had the issues as you mentioned. It clearly a conflicts with any other plugin or theme which we need to sort out.
