    Hi,

I have a .co.uk and .com versions of my domain and I want to make them both work with my site.

The site is built and has been running on .co.uk for about a year but I don’t want to just redirect the .com to the site, I would like the site to display with the.com when requested.

Does anyone have any tips to do this?

You can pretty much only redirect.

The permalinks are mostly saved on the database. And all calls to permalinks read that record.

You can of course, try to make the .com a copy of your .co.uk but that would be out of the realms of WordPress. You can do a copy of your site using the Duplicator plugin. But synchronising the db would be pretty hard work.

I don’t see the logic in what you want to do though.

I’d also say that having the same site running on two differnt URL’s is bad for your SEO. You’ll be hit very quickly with duplicate content penanties, and either one or both sites will be dropped from any search engine results.

You are really best off choosing one top-level domain to run the site from, park any others on top of that, and make sure that the site has the correct canonical tags in place. That way you won’t have any issues.
