    Dear Forminator team,

Is there a way to use trigonometric functions (sin(), cos(), tan()) in the calculations field?

    Best regards,

    asfooo

    Hi @asfooo,

I hope you are doing well today!

This is not possible to do custom calculations as those can become very complex. However, I escalated your request as an improvement to be considered for the upcoming releases.

    Kind regards,
    Zafer

Hi Zafer, thank you for the amazingly quick reply!

I found a workaround: you can use the taylor series of sin and cos and tan. Those contain only +.*/ . If you use 3-4 terms you get a decent approximation of the functions.

    All the best,

    Hi again @asfooo,

I am happy to hear that you have a workaround that could help you to achieve your goal. We are marking this one as resolved for now but already tasked for an improvement for the future.

    Have a good one!

    Kind regards,
    Zafer
