Correct work for carousel images in wordpress.org plugin pages

I have a suggestion to improve the image carousel functionality for WordPress.org plugin pages.

Currently, carousel images act as direct links, which is not very user-friendly. I would like to suggest implementing a Lightbox or “Fancybox” effect. This would allow users to view screenshots in a modal overlay without leaving the current page, significantly improving the browsing experience.
