    Hello all..

I hope this is posted in the correct forum.

I just need to clarify I am using the correct process when setting up my sites and submitting sitemaps when using RS SSL.

    This is my current workflow…

    Step 1.
Build wordpress site and go live on the clients correct domain name.
so the website shows live on http://www.domain.com

    Step 2.
Setup SSL certificate on my server.
Install Really Simple SSL and the domain then becomes https://www.domain.com

    Step 3.
    Create website sitemaps in wordpress.

    Step 4.
In google search console I add all 4 site properties
    http:// and http://www and https:// and https://www

    Step 5.
I submit the sitemap to the website property domain
    https://www.domain.com

    Step 6.
I set the preferred version to
    https://www.domain.com

    Any help is much appreciated…

    Many thanks

    Hi,

the steps you take look good. Do you experience any issues when creating sitemaps or is everything working properly?
