    In plugin
“Allowlisted IPs must be separated by commas or placed on separate lines. You can specify ranges using the following formats: 127.0.0.1/24, 127.0.0.[1-100], or 127.0.0.1-127.0.1.100”

But in wordfence help article https://www.wordfence.com/help/firewall/options/

You can allowlist whole networks if needed .To enter these, you need to input them in the xxx.xxx.xxx.[x-x] format.
65.52.104.0/24 would be entered as 65.52.104.[0-255]

So which is correct. and confirm the correct ip format

Hi @atharvan, thanks for your query.

I just enquired with our team and all 3 formats work as the plugin is correctly stating to use. We will update our documentation now to reflect the same advice, so thank-you for highlighting this discrepancy.

We don’t generally recommend allowlisting IPs under most circumstances as it will bypass all Wordfence security, with a password reset or account management page this could be quite risky. However, if you understand the risks and still need to allowlist a range, there should be no problem using any of these methods.

    Thanks,

    Peter.
