This used to be a very good plugin. BUT why add corona virus information and just add up to the millions of information and misinformation adding to the web? I’d rather get a corona virus notification plugin if I want to. What does that have to with GDPR or privacy or cookie consent of the website? Please someone kindly explain the logic behind this feature.

  • OK, agree, there is only a partly reason for putting this into this plugin.

It could be: hey, if showing a banner at all (for cooikies) why not showing a Covid-19 banner, too?

OK, the information for this addon could have better by the creators, but anybody who does not like it: simply switch it off in the settings. That’s it.

Well, first you have to find the culprit! I certainly did NOT have any notification whatsoever in my dashboard – it took ages to find the bloody reason for this invasion of my website! I thought for a while that my site had been hacked (you don’t do that to your trusting users! Specially ones at my age, where heart attack is a likely option.).
