I Still don’t get it. I have 100+ authors with profiles in the core profile section of WP. If I install your plugin……does it overwrite/add/copy the existing profiles into your plugin?

UM doesn’t override the WP user system. It works alongside it so existing users will not be effected and will also have a user profile.
