Support » Plugin: Sucuri Security - Auditing, Malware Scanner and Security Hardening » Core Integrity Checks emails when the dashboard integrity checks shows nothing

Getting emails from the Sucuri plugin with file changes, but in the site dashboard everything is showing everything as ok. This is happening on several sites.

Pretty sure that the dashboard is correct, but still getting continued emails with several files in the integrity check that is not visible in the dashboard.

How many files are being mentioned in the mail alerts?

Is it the same files mentioned in this other ticket [1]?

I see, thank you for the list.

They are in fact the same files mentioned in the other ticket. I have now realized that WordPress changed the information returned by their API service (the same service that the Sucuri plugin uses) to include a list of possible language files that could exist in every valid installation of the CMS. Unfortunately, we have no way to know when WordPress makes those changes, breaking the functionality of the plugin.

I will fix this tomorrow and merge the patch with the rest of the code that will be released in the next version of the plugin. I will leave this ticket unresolved until the fix is publicly released. Thank you for your patience.

I keep seeing this. Has the fix been deployed?

Hello @tylerdca I already worked on this case, the fix is already in our development repository [1], but I cannot release a new version of the plugin before the QA testing is finished, my co-workers are still reviewing the changes, not only for this bug but also for other things that we decided to modify since the last version.

Feel free to install the development version of the plugin for now [2].

Thanks for the update, I will wait for the release version.

Please tell me that you will give me an update to the Sucuri plugin for christmas. I am really getting to my wits end with the notifications.

@jarledb — I apologize for the delay on the release of the new version of the plugin. Unfortunately, I have no power over the decision to release an update. Without the authorization of my project manager it’s impossible for me to release the patches that I have submitted to the development repository.

What I can do is, talk with my co-workers in the development team to accelerate the testing of these changes and try to convince my project manager to release the update before the end of the year. For now, you can use the development version of the plugin directly from my repository here [1].

Lets hope that my employer agrees to release an update for Christmas.
