• My site (TechnoGiants) started slowing down and for finding the issue, I just looked in the root directory and instead of seeing the normal single core file, I found that there are 16 core files presented in root directory.

Does anyone have any idea why the too many core files are residing?

I am attaching snapshot for the same.

Waiting for a response from you guys.

    Thanks,
    Vaibhav Sri

  • these files are created when a server side application crashes.

you can safely delete them, also let your host know about this and ask for a fix.
