Coraline Start Page Problem: index.php/home.php

    Hi,

    The static startpage of my Coraline theme WP installation gives an error ‘page not found’, while I would like the home.php to appear at that place.
    Also the website’s name above the header image is linked to the index.php (I suppose) and shows that error.

    On the Customize Coraline page, the Static Front Page has been set to Home, however, it does not work.

    As I am new to WP, any hints and help will be much appreciated.

    PS In Settings, reading I entered for the FrontPage: home and for the Posts page: news. However neithe rhome nor news shows up, instead the ‘page not found’ error.

    Solved by changing Permalink settings to custom structure %postname% instead of %page%.
