Copyright WordPress issues

  • Hello, guys and girls.

I’m new in WordPress so don’t hate me.

I just purchased an almost finished website (www.coupanova.com) that was built by previous owner. This is my first week with it and I was investigating all the options and possibilities.
Anyhow, I tried to add my own Google AdSense to it today and Google rejected me for copyrighted material.

The site already has the Google advertisement installed that was on from before. I found that code in the file and can delete it but I let it be for now and decided to add my own AdSense. The template also has a slot for the code snippet from AdSense as well so it can be done.

My question is how to get that copyrighted mark off of the site and make it fully mine and what else I need to do to become registered owner? What I have to do?

I hope the question is understandable.

Your site is using a commercial (paid) theme from PremiumPress — and commercial themes are not supported here. So you should contact them for help with theme questions:

    PremiumPress Help-Desk Has Moved!

For copyright issues, you’ll need to deal with whoever you bought the site from and/or Google — that kind of issue has nothing to do with WordPress and no one here can give you legal advice.

Thanks. I will check over there.
