    Add new plugin called “Tweak Option”. Install and activate.

    Then, go to Tools -> Tweak Option.

    Search for the ‘st_widget’ option entry.

    Click the “edit” button for this option… copy the small bit of code.. and post it here for me to see.

    Okay… Add this back into that option:

    … and click “save”.

    Now… watch as I sprinkle a little magic php dust over internet-land… and BAM!

    Version 6.0 of the ShareThis plugin seems to fix this problem. In the old settings, it didn’t matter whether you checked the feature ON or OFF — it still appended the hash. Now if you check the feature OFF, the copied text is clean. Just update your ShareThis plugin.
