I need to migrate about 250 pages built with elementor from one wordpress site to another. The destination site has pages, plugins and data in it already so I can’t simply use a plugin like duplicator to clone the source site.

Another consideration is since the destination site has been in operation for a while, the post_ids (and exported elementor template IDs) of the pages will be different on the new site.

I have done my research and have seen how most “duplicate post” plugins lose some of the Elementor CSS and layout. I’m experiencing the same loss of css with WP All Export/Import. I have looked closely at my destination site database and it appears I am exporting/importing all of the elementor postmeta database rows. The pages on the new site open in elementor in a single block, the formatting is lost.

The common advice is to save your page as a template and export/import the template. Which works well when you have 1 page.

I have 250 pages. There isn’t an export templates in the batch operations on the All Pages page of the wordpress dashboard.

So how do I batch copy 250 pages build with elementor to a different site?

    Thanks.

  • Have you looked at all in One Migration. I’m not sure if this would solve your issue but it’s something to look at. This allows you to select areas you don’t want to export so you don’t have to move the entire site. I would try it on a test site if you have one.
