Copying from Notepad Giving

    This is a very odd issue that I have never seen before! It’s effecting one of my staff in the US.

    Basically, when she was copying her articles straight from Word, it was sometimes pulling in the font from the Word document. So naturally I told her to copy into Notepad and copy and paste from there, as this usually “cleans” the text.

    Doing this gets rid of the font, but the spacing is all screwed up and a look at the “Text” tab shows that an absolute ton of “<div>” tags have been inserted.

    Any ideas?

    One thing I forgot to add, is that I do this same technique myself for “cleaning” text and it works just fine for me with no problems. :/

    So you cannot replicate the problem?

    No, it only happens to her sometimes and I just tested it copying from word > notepad > wordpress and it was fine. Which is why it’s so puzzling.

    I just chatted with her on Skype with screen sharing and watched what she did and I couldn’t see anything wrong with what she was doing.

    Does the issue persist with all of your plugins deactivated and the Twenty Fifteen theme active?
