Copying custom post type fields including custom fields during translation

Hi,

So I am using WP Job Manger plugin in my site. It has a custom post type Lisitngs. I have two sites, one in EN and other in FR. when translating Listing post type, nothing is copied over translation (which I understand is the intended behaviour). What I need is to copy all fields including custom fields, featured image over during translation. Which action / filter should I hook on to? Also a generic example of even an explanation would help a lot coz am still a newbie to PHP. Thanks!
