Would usually copy/pasta the tables (nothing crazy) from Google Sheets.

Now I get table_import_phpspreadsheet_failed [Exception: Unable to identify a reader for this file].

My table is 2 columns, 5 rows.

    Is this supposed to happen?

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

No, this is not supposed to happen 🙂 I’m looking into a very similar issue already, and to maybe confirm that it’s the same problem, or at least related:

What does “copy/paste” mean here? Are you selecting multiple cells in Google Sheet and then pasting those into the “Manual Input” field on the “Import” screen of TablePress?

    Regards,
    Tobias

Yea, exactly. Just simple selection of cells, copy, paste into TablePress via the Manual option.

    Hi,

thanks for the confirmation! This should now be fixed in TablePress 2.0.3 that I just released 🙂

By the way, you can also copy/paste selected cells directly in the “Edit” screen as well, if you want to update an existing table.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!
