I got a reply from PayPayl customer service, they say as follows:
“I see with this new log that you are not calling DoExpressCheckout after your GetExpressCheckout call causing a PaymentActionNotInitiated checkout response. Please see https://stackoverflow.com/questions/21617528/paymentactionnotinitiated-when-do-express-checkout. You may refer to this PayPal Developer documentation for resolution with your developer – https://developer.paypal.com/api/nvp-soap/do-express-checkout-payment-nvp/.”
Could you please advise what would be the next step to get this fixed?

As stated above this is PayPal’s reply *after* their receiving the log file, which I had had turned on all along anyway. The reply from PayPal is their diagnostics of the reason why payments don’t go through. They’re not asking for the API anymore.
Please advise on how to get the issue fixed, since I can’t take any card payments.

Yes, I confirm the PayPal API credentials are set up correctly.
Not sure where to obtain the PayPal log, I will ask them and follow up.

If they review the log they provided you, along with my response, they would be able to validate the same.
Please let me know how I can pass you the log. I won’t post it here as it contains personal information.

Maybe you can remove the personal info from the log file?
You can upload the log file to a file upload site like wetransfer.com
