Copied Mail template strange behaviour

    Hi,

    When I copy an email template to my themes folder and try to change some of the text, the mail that is sent isn’t showing Swedish umlaut characters correctly in the order details and product specification. If I use the default email template (not overriding it) the characters are displaying as they should.

    What could be amiss?
