I think I know what you are getting at, and it has to do with a plugin which creates an image out of your desired font and posts the image rather than the text. Um, unfortunately for some reason the name of the plugin escapes me at the moment…

I think there may be a few around but one of them which I can vouch for is this one at
    http://chris.coggburn.us/wp-content/downloads/titleimages2.zip

Chris offers no support for it anymore but it is easy and I am sure others on here will lend a helping hand if the need arises 🙂

    Intsructions within the zip.

You can also do what I do, and use sIFR to have Flash dynamically render your headlines in whichever font you choose.

    More on sIFR.

Thanks… wow… this could be cool.

    😉

The one from Coldforged is great, use it on my own site. You can use whatever font you want, and it’s integrated with the WP admin module:

    Tavarish,

I gave your plugin in a try. Got halfway through the process with no help (amazing for me) and then I saw this:

“IMPORTANT NOTE! As of version 1.4 of the WordPress Plugin Manager, TTF font files are not allowed elements of plugins. Hence, the bundled font is not installed correctly. You will need to download the tarball or ZIP file and install the font into the WordPress installation’s ‘wp-content/image-headlines directory.”

The message presumes I know what they mean by ‘the font’. Of Course I know what a font is, but not which one they are talking about OR where to get it. Once I’ve got it I can manage the rest.

Also, the directory the make reference to (wp-content/image-headlines) isn’t there.

    ?

The font is called warp1 and it is part of your downloaded plugin.

The image-headlines directory isn’t there because you have to make it within wp-content.

The best suggestion I have is to revisit ColdForged and read thru the thread for the plugin. Every possible eorror is covered within the thread and CF goes out of his way to assist if needed.

    Thanks!

As gb_ noted above, sIFR looks mighty interesting, and it behaves nicely even when you don’t have Flash or JS enabled!
