    This error temporarily crashed my site. My site host, fixed it by deactivating the plugin but said I cannot reactivate until this is fixed. This is what she provided-

    OK thats de-activated and the admin screen is back now.
    This is the fatal Error, which you need to take to the plugin developers for help working round.
    Fatal error: Namespace declaration statement has to be the very first statement or after any declare call in the script in /www/wp-content/plugins/cool-timeline/admin/feedback/users-feedback.php on line 2

    I have this plugin on my other site too, which has not crashed (yet, knock on wood). But my 2 sites have almost identical plugins with the same theme so, it’s likely to affect that one too.

    So! Does the plugin need to be updated? Is there anyting I can do? Or should I scrap the plugin (and affiliated plugins) on my site and look for something else? Thanks.

    Hi @gloriat8,

    Sorry for the inconvenience.
    Don’t worry, We will definitely provide you some solutions.
    Our other users never face this type of problem. It only occurs only at your end.
    I have done some research and figure out. Actually, this type of issue only occurs when the code file contains extra space before the namespace statement.

    Could you please check this cool-timeline/admin/feedback/users-feedback.php file?
    Is it contain extra space before it ? namespace CTL\feedback;
    Please share a screenshot or installed a plugin zip file with us.
