    Hallo,

    VG Sandra

    Hi @sanhop,

Could you confirm that you have setup Google Tag Manager in accordance with our guide here? https://complianz.io/definitive-guide-to-tag-manager-and-complianz/

If correctly configured, you will be able to use Complianz events which serve as triggers. You can then connect them to your tags/scripts, to fire them based on the correct consent type.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno

    Hey Jarno,

    Hi @sanhop,

If you send an email to support@complianz.io, you can perhaps show me how your GTM container is configured. I can also invite you to an example container where we have created the triggers already, to show what the setup should look like.

I suspect that if all of your triggers are being fired before consent, you might not be using “Custom Event” as the trigger type.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno

    Hi @sanhop,

I’ll mark this thread as resolved now, as the issue has been solved through our support mail.

For others reading this thread: the solution, in this case, was to block a live chat service prior to user consent, as the service loaded Google ReCaptcha (and thus, third-party cookies from Google.com).

    Kind regards,
    Jarno
