Support » Fixing WordPress » Cookies – How does WordPress use them?

  • Hi Everyone,

I have a quick questions. I am using the latest version of WordPress, plus a lot of plugins if that makes a difference. I am wondering how WordPress uses cookies on my visitors. I found this page but that seems to only tell me that WordPress uses cookies for logged in users. I would like to know how it uses cookies for people who aren’t logged in. I cleaned all my cookies and viewed my site as a regular user and WordPress put two cookies on my computer. Any ideas? Thanks!

  • The page says it. WordPress itself only uses cookies for people who log in or comment.

Everything else depends on your plugins.
