 * I tried to make their plugin work on my site for 3 days. It kept breaking my
site, whether cookies were accepted or not. Videos would not play, other plugins
with no cookie were broken. If I set it to manual, then it worked. Of course
it worked, nothing was being blocked. I opened a ticket and basically I need
to hire a programmer to write code for all my plugins. Why do that when there
are other plugins that actually work without the drama? In the meantime Cookiebot
was counting the pages on my site, which by the way was not live and did not
have any visitors, and they charged my Paypal account $24.00 for the first month.
I asked for a refund and they said I had to pay for the first month no matter
   what, no exceptions.

 * Hi [@a2zsc](https://wordpress.org/support/users/a2zsc/),
 * Sorry to hear that you couldn’t get Cookiebot working. You could have reached
out to one of our 1000 [resellers](https://www.cookiebot.com/goto/resellers/)
to get help, tried the [WP support forum](https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/cookiebot/),
or our own [community](https://support.cookiebot.com/hc/en-us). Cookiebot seems
to work just fine currently for around 175.000 websites.
 * When you create a Cookiebot account, you start on the free plan. We then scan
your site for any tracking going on, and if you have over 100 pages, which is
the max for a free account, you will be upgraded to a free 1-month trial plan,
which clearly states which premium plan you qualify for.
 * **IF** you wish to proceed using Cookiebot, you have to configure billing information,
in your case a Paypal account. Since you have configured your Paypal account,
all of the information was available to you, so why does the no-refund come to
you as a suprise? If content or features related to your paid membership were
defective, unavailable, or did not perform as stated, then that would have been
   another case.
