[Resolved] Cookie

  • Hello!

I use your beautiful, fantastic Plugin as a Stylesheet Switcher. I have adjust everything, just one thing is missing: How can I prohibit the plugin from making a cookie?

I want the plugin to be used only on my homepage, not on the whole website. And everything should get back to default, when going to another page or refreshing the homepage. How can I achieve that?

    Thanks for this great plugin!

    Kind Regards
    Joe

Well, I don’t pretend to follow why you’d want to do that; but I assume you have a good reason.

The function that creates the cookie is in toolbar/js/a11y.js. The simplest thing to do is to change the function so that it doesn’t create a cookie.

Thank you, Joe! Can you tell me what I have to do in this file? I’m using the “a11y.css” as the additional/alternative stylesheet and in there only the class “.fontsize” for changing my content-look.

You can’t affect this by editing the CSS; you need to edit the JS file. You just need to edit the createCookie function so that it doesn’t create a cookie; such as by commenting out that part of the function.

Thank you, Joe! I solved the problem!
