    Hi, I have a followup on this ticket.

    We experienced the same issues on our web site https://iceclog.com since last update. Plugin was working fantastic before, and now after update to latest WordPress version, it is not working any more.

    We are using WordPress 5.1.1 with PHP 7.2, WPEngine as hosting.

    Any help or feedback would be more than welcome.

    Kind regards,
    Milan

    Hi again,
    I found out the issue, for some reason, visibility is not properly changed in CSS when cookie is accepted/not-accepted.

    I wrote a quick patch to make this work. Hopefully, this would be fixed in future versions of plugin.

    Here is a fix, maybe it will help someone, @evelynmckinnon you can try it on your case as well.

    /**
     * Quick fix for cookie notice (plugin author should provide permanent fix)
     * If cookies are not accepted, render cookie message visible.
     * For some reason, this stopped working since the last update.
     *
     * @author latm
     */
    add_action( 'wp', 'iceclogCookieNoticePatch' );
    function iceclogCookieNoticePatch()
    {
    	if ( function_exists('cn_cookies_accepted') && !cn_cookies_accepted() ) {
    	   echo '<style type="text/css">
            #cookie-notice {
                visibility: visible !important;
            }
            </style>';
    	}
    }
