I have had this client make a similar payment in August and it worked perfectly fine, but now I’m suddenly getting “cookie nonce is invalid” messages when someone else is trying to make a payment (not me, it works for me).

    Any idea what’s going on?

Hey, @ubercool I actually reached out to you an Twitter, but I will answer here as well in case others have this happen.

This error occurs when the WordPress REST API security nonce has expired due to caching.

Ensure any caching does not last longer than 12 hours or exclude the payment page from the cache.

After changing your cache settings, make sure you clear it out.

Well, I have no local caching. I do use MacCDN but after I cleared all cached content last night it still produced the same error, think CDN caching could be the issue?

    Yes, it certainly could.

Tried it again by deleting that specific page’s cache at MaxCDN. Did not work. You should think about creating a fix for this, it’s not something that’s clearly easily fixable by the average web developer.

Thank you, @adamjlea, this worked for me perfectly. Had no idea caching the payments page created this error. Thanks! 😀
