Cookie is not clear on session

    Hello,

    I am using popup to show on time delay and on close, it sets Session Cookie. So when user click browser, it clears the cookie and on when opening new browser, it should fire popup again.

    but when i check, once the cookie is set, it is not clear the cookie after closing the browser.

    Is there any settings i should apply to achieve this?

    @tejashapani-1 – Sorry for the delay. I’m guessing you didn’t read the description for the session cookie option? it says its not relaible due to browsers no longer properly clearing them every time you close the browser. Mainly because they offer state saving, IE when you close the browser it opens up the same tabs and your still logged in. IE never destroys the sessions. Nothing we can do about it honestly.

    Use a short cookie time instead, 6 hours, 12 or 24 hours etc and disable that.
