• Hi. I received this email from Microsoft in December about needing to call the Clarity Consent API to collect and manage user consent for any sessions that are coming from the EEA, UK and Switzerland. Will this be something that is added to this plugin or should I manually implement this?

    Many thanks

    Hi. Just following up on this as I have not had a response.

    @smams ,

    Irrespective of how you had installed Clarity script on your website, we expect you to call the Clarity Consent API to collect and manage user consent for any sessions that are coming from the EEA, UK and Switzerland.

    Please refer to the Clarity Client API documentation for detailed guidance on how to call the API.

    We need customers to call clarity(‘consent’, true) when they receive consent.

    We need an explicit consent signal. If you only load Clarity when you have consent already, then just always call clarity(‘consent’) after you load Clarity.
