Hi,

instagram seems to have updated the instagram embed JS and with this, the cookie enabling does not work. After enabling all cookies, the following error is thrown ONLY when the page contains instagram embeds:
TypeError: e.indexOf is not a function. (In ‘e.indexOf(” “)’, ‘e.indexOf’ is undefined) when using jQuery 3.4.1 (used to work before). When downgrading jQuery, the script is loading but all posts are limited in height due to a cookie consent style “height: inherit”.

Is there any solution to this problem?

EDIT: I just found this topic: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/blocking-facebook-feed/
and it seems to be related to this issue. When disabling the placeholders in the complianz settings, the instagram embeds load without issues.
For now, I have changed that setting, but showing a placeholder would be nice in the long term.

Hi @marcelsttrln,

I’ve made the regex that does the matching on the instagram placeholders stricter, can you try this branch to see if this resolves your issue? (don’t forget to enable the placeholders again)

We have checked on our sandbox here: http://breakable-petrel.w5.wpsandbox.pro/2020/01/06/instagram/ it should work now. This will be updated soon.
