I have installed this plugin, ‘GDPR Cookie Compliance’ on our website: https://staging-doseddaily.kinsta.cloud.

When we click on the Accept or Reject button in the cookie banner, it still stores all cookies—such as form-related cookies and WordPress login cookies.

This means the same cookies are being stored regardless of whether the user clicks Accept or Reject.

So, what is the difference between accepting and rejecting cookies in this case?

Does this behavior violate our cookie policy?
You can review our policy here: https://staging-doseddaily.kinsta.cloud/privacy/.

Could you please verify if this setup aligns with our policy—especially in terms of form submission and third-party cookies mentioned in the cookie policy?

Note: Our website also stores Google Analytics cookies because we have included a Google Tag Manager script.

    Hi @albyse

    Thanks for using our plugins.

We won’t be able to verify your policies as that’s outside of the scope of our support.

Our plugin is just a template and needs to be setup properly by an experienced person for it to prevent storing cookies when user clicks Reject.

Furthermore, some cookies like WordPress CMS, Woocommerce and others are either essential or pervasive and require additional treatment and consideration. Again this is outside of the scope of our support to go into details of this as it’s not a technical issue but rather legal/policy issue.

For Google Manager integration, we recommend using our ‘Integrations’ tab.

    Hope this helps.

Thank you for the reply. Then can you say what will happen when we accept/reject cookie. On accepting cookie policy, what all details will be stored? Waiting for your reply
