Cookie box stopped on all our sites.

Something strange just happened. Your plugin has gone, but there is a new plugin called Termly. Clicking that requires some sort of subscription.

So all our websites, which are many, using the cookie popup has stopped working, is that intentional, or has your systems been hacked or something?

If its not intentional, please could you fix the issue so our next scheduled updates will re-instate the functionality we use it for.

If this is intentional then I am dumfounded, and cant believe this is legally allowed or within WordPress rules? I mean, I installed a plugin for a function, then that plugin has removed all that function and inserted something else? This is probably THE biggest example of issues resulting in handing over coding to 3rd party developers. This now puts me in quite a lot of trouble due to so many websites having it removed.

Can I give you some advice…. this change really should be a NEW plugin. This is not an update, this is swapping a plugin for a completely different one. Thats a new plugin you should have released and not a new one.

Can you let me know if you will rectify this so the original plugin is restored, or you will not be doing that?
