• Hello,
    I have two sites:
One with the next version of WordPress with the WordPress Beta Tester – https://michellemoore.co
One with the latest version of WordPress https://tmichellemoore.com.

I noticed that before 6.1 was released the CookieYes banner was different than on the pre 6.1 version on the latest version site. As soon as the latest version updated to 6.1 I checked the CookieYes banner and it was not the same. I thought that would fix the differences issue. Then I uninstalled the plugin and reinstalled. I tried to check the settings and they are totally different. I also checked to see am I actually working with the same plugin.

Does this plugin work differently on different versions of WordPress? How can I get the banner that is on https://michellemoore.co?

    Thank you!!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @tmm63,

    Greetings from CookieYes!

Our WordPress plugin underwent a comprehensive rewrite of its code and user interface. Now, connecting to our CookieYes web application is made simple for plugin users. However, it is not dependent on the WordPress version.

This revamped plugin is only available when installing our plugin for the first time on a fresh website. The UI and features will stay the same for websites that already have our legacy plugin installed and have evolved through updates. This was done to ensure that the existing user’s settings were not altered.

To switch to the revamped plugin interface as seen on https://michellemoore.co, update to version 3.0.5, go to the advanced tab in the plugin settings, and select the delete settings and reset button. You’ll be shifted right away to the new UI. Then use the plugin to connect to our web app and scan your cookies. The scripts will be automatically blocked.

NB: Your current configuration in the plugin and translations will be wiped out if the transition from legacy to the revamped interface is executed.

Helpful, thanks, maybe good idea to pin this one.
